Computer Science and Data Science Student Software Engineer Intern
More About Me
I am a motivated student and software engineer with hands-on professional experience in AWS and backend development. Currently pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Data Science at Wisconsin Lutheran College. I take pride in my ability to adapt, learn quickly, and build efficient, reliable solutions.
Throughout my journey, I've gained valuable experience in software engineering and data science through internships, projects, and academic coursework.
June 2025 - Present
Built and improved internal software using AWS, Python, Javascript, React, and modern automation tools to streamline business processes and reduce operational costs. My work replaced manual and batch workflows with reliable event-driven systems, which improved data accuracy and compliance across the organization.
August 2024 - May 2028
I am a current Computer Science student with a 3.91 cumulative GPA, recognized on the Dean’s List every semester and as a recipient of the Freshman Honors in Mathematics Award. I am developing a strong foundation in Computer Science and Data Science through hands-on coursework and projects.
I’m currently developing a fantasy-style social sportsbook that allows friends and family to create private or public groups and wager on custom events using in-app currency with no real-money stakes. The app emphasizes competition, strategy, and social interaction rather than gambling, making it a safe and casual way to engage with sports and friendly challenges. Users can create and join groups, define their own betting events, place wagers, and track outcomes through shared leaderboards. The application is being built with React Native and TypeScript for a cross-platform mobile experience, with Google Firebase handling authentication, real-time data storage, and backend logic. Development is currently focused on core features such as user accounts, group management, event creation, and bet tracking, with plans to expand social and analytics features as the project matures.
I developed a fully featured poker game using Unity and C#, designed to run seamlessly across iOS and Android. The game implements authentic poker mechanics, including full hand evaluation, turn-based betting logic, pot management, and win determination that mirrors real-world gameplay. The application was optimized for performance and usability across different mobile ecosystems. The game was successfully published on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, where it reached 8,000+ total downloads, providing real-world experience in shipping, maintaining, and supporting a production application used by thousands of players. This game is still available for download on the Google Play Store but is no longer being maintained.
I have gained experience in various areas of software development and data science through internships, projects, and academic coursework. Here are some of the key areas where I have developed my skills:
I have developed multiple web and mobile applications using modern frontend technologies such as React, React Native, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My focus has been on creating user-friendly interfaces that provide seamless user experiences.
Through my internship at Artisan Partners I have gained invaluable experience in backend development, working with Python and JavaScript to build efficient automations and services. For my projects, I have used Express.js, Python, and Google Firebase to create RESTful APIs and store data reliably and securely.
I have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud, where I have deployed and managed applications, configured services, and optimized performance for scalability and reliability.
